Comfortable accommodations with a clean, recently refurbished feel. A secure bike garage for cyclists made storage convenient.
Room size could feel a bit cramped-more space would have upgraded the experience. Parking situation misleading. Only a small garage available, requiring a walk to find proper parking nearby. Navigating the streets can be tricky, with Google Maps leading to a blocked road, necessitating a roundabout route.

Good central location and the newly refurbished room was a bonus as we saw the rooms yet to be done were tired loooking. Good garage space for car parking.
Breakfast was quite basic

Make sure to request a quiet room for a more restful night, as some areas can be noisy late into the night.

Excellent location right in the hustle bustle. I recommend booking a space in the reserved parking in advance as parking right by the hotel isn't easy otherwise. The room was lovely both times we stayed and had clearly recently been refurbished. A cot was provided for our little one and was very new and clean. The buffet breakfast was perfectly sufficient. Our little one wasn't charged on either occasion for her breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. Some people have complained about the noise of the street and yes, that was quite noisy with laughing and shouting until quite late. The first time we stayed we had a room on the quiet side of the hotel so if this bothers you, request that. I found the gulls a lot noisier than the street.

The staff were attentive and provided help.
The hotel staff was not so helpful.

I almost thought this hotel woudl be decent, but the heating was a disaster, rooms were colder than the outside! Where's the hospitality? No kettle in the room-just a silly coffee machine. As if everyone adores coffee! I was also expecting a complimentary gesture for my inconvenience, but alas, nothing came.

The staff were superb, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was convenient for eating out
Our room was newly decorated but rather small. Although we are not large persons the shower was nearly impossible to use. This was our only disappointment but it seems to us that it need not have been so. The problem was that the doors were fitted too close to the end of the shower tray so that when in use it was not possible to wash your feet without either knocking the water off or pushing the doors open. There was ample room for this not to be the case

Secure bike garage, proximity to the center, powerful showers
Having to navigate a convoluted route to access parking isn't ideal!!! The outdated decor and small toilet areas could use a refresh for better comfort during stays!!! Nearby noise from bars can be unbearable for light sleepers!!!

A well run hotel. The room we had was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was well presented. Located just a short walk from local restaurants and the harbour. Excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Thanks a lot all for the comfortable stay on a Saturday night. Clean hotel, satisfactory breakfast, the location is magnificent close enough to many bars and restaurants, 10mins from the ferry port and the railway station. My must haves' are a spotless, compact room with very comfortable bed, lovely big bathroom, as example.

very friendly staff from arriving to leaving, nothing was to much bother, very helpful. rooms very clean, lovely bathrooms, Very close to the ferry, we stayed for one night as we where catching the ferry the following morning
If you have a room at the front of the hotel, even on the 4th floor it is very noisy due to the bars etc this went on into the early hours of the morning we had our window open because it was a very warm night, we shut it at 2 30 in the morning after being kept awake, then we still could not sleep because the room became to warm. Not a very good end to our holiday. Do not know if this is every night? we stayed on a sat night.
